I love flowers. I love going to gardens, strolling in parks, slowly walking past house gardens. I have my favorites: hydrangeas, peonies, roses, mums … but any flash of color brings a smile to my face.
So this year, in an effort to celebrate all that is beautiful in our life, I have begun to scrap these pictures. It gives me a chance to experiment with different products and styles. There are so many products available that I never buy because they don’t go with the smiling faces of my boys or their antics.
For example, this geometric paper, arrows, yellow & red together on a page. I would not call this my style. But I really, really like it.

Such a beautiful flower and photo. This is my new favorite layout of yours. Love what you did with the wood veneers.
Beautiful work! It’s fun to experiment with different styles.
Beautiful. That is why I get a monthly scrap kit, it forces me to try new things. It has really changed my scrap style for the better this year I am more willing to experiment.
Lovely photo!
While I’m a terrible gardener, I do love pretty flowers. Hydrangeas and daffodils are favorites. This is a great idea – not only to get your pretty flower photos scrapbooked but also to have place to experiment and try new things. Love your design.
This is such a lovely layout, and I think the idea of scrapping flowers to ‘play’ is such a fun one!
I really like it, too! Love the mix of patterns, the floral with the geometric.
Just beautiful !
