Trying something different

I love flowers. I love going to gardens, strolling in parks, slowly walking past house gardens. I have my favorites: hydrangeas, peonies, roses, mums … but any flash of color brings a smile to my face.

So this year, in an effort to celebrate all that is beautiful in our life, I have begun to scrap these pictures. It gives me a chance to experiment with different products and styles. There are so many products available that I never buy because they don’t go with the smiling faces of my boys or their antics.

For example, this geometric paper, arrows, yellow & red together on a page. I would not call this my style. But I really, really like it.

  1. While I’m a terrible gardener, I do love pretty flowers. Hydrangeas and daffodils are favorites. This is a great idea – not only to get your pretty flower photos scrapbooked but also to have place to experiment and try new things. Love your design.
